Privacy Policy

At Pythogen, we believe that utility apps should work for you, not spy on you. Our privacy policy is incredibly simple: We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data.

1. 100% Offline & Local

All Pythogen applications—including ClipDeck and Canvas—make exactly zero unexpected network requests. There are no tracking scripts, no third-party telemetry, and no mandatory cloud sync portals. All processing and files stay securely on your physical device.

2. Where Your Data Lives

Your application databases, dynamic settings, and cached layouts are stored strictly locally:

• ClipDeck:
  ~/Library/Application Support/dev.pythogen.ClipDeck/
• Canvas:
  ~/Library/Containers/com.canvas.CanvasApp/Data/

All content inside these sandboxed directories is fully encrypted at rest if you have macOS FileVault enabled in your System Settings.

3. App Exclusions & Security

ClipDeck includes an "Exclusions" list to automatically ignore copy actions from secure environments like password managers. Canvas operates strictly under secure, restricted AppKit window-level sandboxing, monitoring and rendering your chosen folders only.

4. Storage Limits & Libraries

ClipDeck history limits are fully configurable (50, 100, 500, or Infinite). Canvas wallpapers are stored natively in flat JSON files referencing original files without duplication. You can purge or clear these local caches at any time.
